FOOTBAL TRAINING SESSION

My traning session, done un the 18 of February of 2016 in P.E class consisted of 6 different stages:

1. WARM-UP
We started with 5 minutes continous running at a low rythm followed by joints rotation giving special focus to the the ankles, knees and the neck, as these were the body parts that we were going exercise the most.

2. PASSING EXERCISE
In order to get the ball rolling we started with a basic passing exercise to train our reflexes and to get used to pass the ball quickly as it will demand the following exercise.
Firstly, we started with two raws of 3 players and two passers that were in both sides, we started wit only one ball and a low rythm and as the rythm increased and the players were getting used it and I introduced the second ball to make more complex.

3. CREATION EXERCISE
In this exercise we are going to train the individual technique of the player who will have to decide where to pass the ball, and also the collective technique as the players of each team will have to presure efficiently to get the possesion.
We are going to divide the group in three teams of three players, each team will have to score passing the ball to a team mate through the cones and the receiver will have to control the ball to score.
4. SHOOTING AND DRIBLING 
We divided the group in pairs to do this exercise, one of them located on the corner line waiting for his partner to dribble the obstacules and pass him the ball, he had to control and center or make a satin pass to his partner and him to shoot.

5. MATCH
It was time to test all the skills learnt during the lesson, we used our half of the field to play a football match which ended up with a polemic victory of the blue team thanks to doubtful penalty

6.COOLING DOWN
And for last but not less important the cooling down, it basically consisted of stretching the most charged muscle in the session like the cufflinks.

INTERESTING SESSIONS OF MY PTP

I would say that apart from the stretching sessions that were something new for me, the rest of my PtP has been really monotonous and doesn´t contain anyhing interesting, however it might not have been really original but it´s been really effective that for me was the main point.
Going back to the stretching session, I found it really difficult, I did many yoga exercises that actually worked really well, at first I had pain in my whole body but when I woke the following morning I felt like a new person.
I have always doubted of the effectiveness of those methods but I was very glad to find out that they actually work, or at least yoga.

APPS FOR TRAINING

Nike +Running: This app gives you the opportunity to compete whith your friends that use it, the app is divided into different levels and in terms of your condition you choose a different level, this really helps beacause the app helps to progress little by little and not having a overloads.
Based on my personal experience I would say that measuring of distances are perfectly realistic.



RUNTASTIC: This app uses the GPS of your IPHONE to measure your speed, the distance and the time of your training sesions. It also reflects in a map your roote in real time. It gives you accurate graphics of your tranning sessions with all the details of those. Something really curious is that the app has integrated purchases of motivating stories that you can listen while you are running.




STRAVA RUNNING: This app uses the GPS  to relfect your trannings and it also gives you the opportunity to compete with your friends. It picks up information of your speed, distance, cardiac rythm and time. It uses this information to create a clasification of the best users.



FITNESS TESTS

Are you ready to challenge? I was looking for some interesting fitness tests online that I could do for my personal training project and by chance a I found a website called www.topendsports.com that offers more than a hundred tests that you can do, how to do them and what are they for, I found it really useful and I really helped me to improve in Personal Taining Project.
